Baroque Pearls

The shape of history. Baroque pearls embrace asymmetry, softness, and imperfection. Their naturally varied silhouettes make every piece feel personal and one of a kind – no two are quite a pair.

All our freshwater cultured pearls are 100% nacre (mother-of-pearl), even the baroque pearls. It all starts with a small piece of donor mantle tissue carefully implanted into a freshwater mussel. Over months to years, layers of nacre build up, creating the pearl's lustre and thickness – organic forms shaped slowly by water, time, and tide. Fine prong- and bezel-set stones create a delicate line of light, finished with a pearl that carries its own glow, curves, and character.
